The hashtag #ImAFarmerLikeNunes trended on Twitter Thursday, as social media users called out the congressman for attempting to equate himself with rural farmers. According the The Sacramento Bee, Democrats accused Nunes of being a “fake farmer” over a year ago, after he described himself as such on campaign materials and profiles.
